My hotmail account won't let me open one particular email on my computer but it works on others. Why?

All other emails open no problem, but when I click on this one nothing at all happens. It's as if it's not there. (NB, I'm not talking about attachments, just the main body of email text.) When I try it on other computers I can access this email no problem whatsoever. I've tried restarting computer and Internet Explorer, also deleting temporary internet files. It's from a friend in my address book.
