When the wizard is configuring e-mail settings and trying to log on to server, it says
"Access to Hotmail via Outlook and Outlook Express now requires a subscription. Please sign up at http://join.msn.com/general/Email".
Do I have to pay an account with hotmail?
I mean, will a free hotmail account work with OE..? Won鈥檛 it?

Nope afraid it wont, you have to sign up for a premium account or suchlike which will cost you money. You can however use 'Windows Live Mail Desktop' which will handle both your hotmail and your normal POP accounts (and do it pretty well - I use it and find it a great program to use)
