Basically my boyfriends account has been hacked, %26amp; harrassing the people on his friends list. He obviously can't get into the account. Is there any other way to get the account closed for good? I've emailed abuse[at]hotmail.com, hoping they'll be able to help. Has anyone had any experience in this situation? %26amp; had a good outcome?

Closing hotmail account after being hacked?
Have the people on his list foward the harrassing emails to the hotmail abuse address, they will shut it down eventually.
Reply:the problem with closing down accounts is that they like to send verifying emails to that account.. you need to keep badgering them and explain the situation... just keep going on at them until they do it... eventually they will because they will get fed up with you!!!
