How do you use Hotmail accounts on an ipod touch's mail ?

I have an ipod touch; wen i try to add a hotmail acc to it it doesnt have it. i press other. put my info in then this other lot of info cums up; i dont know what to put into them ? please help x

If you have Hotmail plus (if you actually pay for hotmail) you can use it with the Mail application. If you are just a user that doesn't pay, like most of us, you can't use it. Stupid microsoft and their desperate measures to make money...





You can, however, download another program for use with Hotmail. I use M.Box mail, which is okay. It can be free if you jailbreak the device, or you have to pay for it through the App store.

Reply:I recently had the same problem, but you can get hotmail with the mail app.


First you need to go to settings,


click on mail, contacts, calender button,


then where it says account, click on your e-mail address,


then go to the bottom where it says Outgoing Mail Server, and click SMTP,


then click under Primary Server - add server


then click on host name and type in hotmail.com





and that is how to change your server to hotmail. hope that helps!

Reply:u can use hotmail. on the mail application go to others write ur hotmail details and it will work. it worked 4 me.
Reply:Hotmail doens't work on Iphones as far as I know.. you could get another pop 3 email account like google mail or you could use your yahoo! Hope this helps!
