How do i add an account to Microsoft Outlook? Other than hotmail one.?
To add a new email account, open up Microsoft Outlook, and go to the Tools menu. Here you will find an option called "Accounts..."

Choose that and you should have the option to add a new one. Simply go through all the settings of either your HTTP settings, IMAP settings or POP3/SMTP settings. You'll know which one to use when you look at the information you are given by your university.
Reply:it depends on the type of account.. generally you should set it up as an imap account and eneter the incomming and outgoing servers.. incomming is the server provided by your uni outgoing is the server provided by ur isp.
Reply:I have several e-mail accounts that I can view at one time through MS Outlook. What you can do is visit the webpage for your university's IT department and usually they have the information there for step by step instructions on doing this.
Reply:In Outlook, go to tools and select accounts. click add, select mail and tell it the name you want to use, click next and enter the address you want to create the account for.

Now the techie bit - lets assume your email address is:-

firstname.lastname@uniname.whatever

in the incoming mail section type in

pop.uniname.whatever

in the outgoing mail section type

smtp.uniname.whatever

then on the next page type your account name and password into the two areas and check the box that says remember password.

and that should be it, outlook will now check your uni mail account for you.
