How can I delete a HOTMAIL account???

plz, i made a new account on Yahoo! and i don't have any use for my old mail. I am wondering HOW to delete it!!! i tried searching help, but it dosen't help at all, i have tried searching by videos,but they don't help either! oh, what am i going to do....help....plz...

You can have several email accounts. It is best to use one like your Hotmail account when you are asked for an email address to join a forum, using a credit card, etc. Never use your ISP email account(s) for this purpose. Using a free online account will make it easy to get rid of spam.


If you want the Hotmail account to disappear, just be sure to log out of it and don't use it for 2 months. No big deal.

Some e-mails you just have to let it sit dormant for something like 60 days, and the account is automatically deleated.
Reply:You can't delete it. Hotmail only deactivates accounts once there hasn't been any activity on it for a certain period of time. So go in and change your profile and remove all personal emails etc, then just let it go. If you sign in at all it counts as activity. So just let it go!!! :)
Reply:log into msn.com . then click on Hotmail, login and then go to settings and cancel ur hotmail acc.


u cannot just ignore ur a/c and believe it to be gone.. it doesn't go.


I had once tried to retrive my hotmail a/c for about 2 years, i didnot use it,. but then somehow i managed to open it . it doesn't go away..


u will have to officially delete it /cancel it
Reply:Dont sing in to the account for about two weeks to a month and it will be gone! That happened to me one time when I didn't sign into mine for almost a month!

Reply:theres no place where it says account settings? or a search bar? if you cant, just leave it, after so long of inactivity it will get cancelled anyway.
